Work on a show together
Sheet G-115 · from the in-app Guide · updated 2026-10-17
The short version
- Turn on cloud backup and save — the browser opens the copy in your account.
- At uplink.show/account, click Open: the full netmap editor runs in the tab.
- Share the show with anyone who has a netmap licence; you both edit it at the same time.
- Everyone sees who is in the show and which rack or zone they are on; History shows who changed what.
01The same app, in a tab
Opening a show at your account page runs netmap itself on our servers — not a lite version. Exports, publish and the whole paperwork set work there. Fix a patch from the production office, hand a show to the next op, or work from a machine you would rather not install anything on. View opens a show read-only, for checking a rig or pulling an export without taking it over.
02Share it
From your account page, Share a show with anyone who has a netmap licence. They get an email with a link, open it under Shared with me, and you both edit it in the browser, each seeing the other's changes within about a second. The Share dialog shows who has access and who is in the show right now. A shared room loads the show owner's library, packs and logo, so everyone draws the same gear.
03Stay out of each other's way
Everyone in the show appears in the top bar. Give a heads-up on the rack or zone you are working on and others see it before they start editing there. Changes merge as you go; History lists every change with who made it and when, including changes merged from another machine.
04Back on the desktop
Work in the browser saves to your account as you go. Open the show on the desktop and it offers the newer copy — or, if nothing changed locally, loads it on its own and tells you where it came from.
Browser editing and sharing are included with netmap Studio · Beta
