Draw the network riser
Sheet G-117 · from the in-app Guide · updated 2026-10-17
The short version
- The Riser tab draws the control band, the home runs out to each zone, and each zone's feed tree of rack cards.
- It needs nothing of its own: it derives from your zones, racks and trunk lines.
- Lines carry the trunk number, stock length and the fiber strands in use; barrel home runs draw dashed.
- It prints as an index, a control sheet, a sheet per zone and one large overall sheet.
01The whole network, one level up
Rack Wiring shows what is wired inside one rack. The riser is the same drawing set one level up: which rack feeds which. A card per rack lists its switches and nodes; the lines between them are your trunk lines, labelled with their number, stock and strands.
02Arrange it once
Drag a rack card where you want it — the arrangement is saved with the show, and dragging one card never moves another. Tidy up puts everything back on a clean automatic layout, ordering cards so runs go straight across. Click a card to open that rack's wiring sheet.
03What prints
Tick Riser in the export sections: an index, the control sheet, one sheet per zone, and an overall sheet that fits the same paper. Notes on the master print on every riser sheet. A rack with no zone lands on the overall sheet.
The riser is included on every tier — no add-on
